I asked my husband to try and find my books because I realized that in amazon you could use phrases and not just keywords. He could not find my new book with just a keyword search. He could find some of my older books though. He said there was a glitch with how they are displaying because ever page had only two images on it. When I created this book. I got a bad review where the reader had stated they could not see the patterns because I had too many pattern circles on each page. So I brought this down to two patterns per page for the sake of “seeing the details”. But, I think that went too far and so I am reformatting the pages to have 4 on each page. Over the years I’ve found this to be a really nice amount of patterns per page. Everything is easy to see and it doesn’t look crowded. So I’m redrawing some of the Fast Freehand Fills Book 1 pages and giving them new life. Its going to take a long time.

I worked on it for hours yesterday and I got like six pages done so this is busy work over the next year or so. I’d also like to put out a winter holiday book because as I create these books I learn what the holidays are about. I have no idea what Kwanza, Hanukkah or Yule really are. I have found that I’ve been going through life with a blurred overview on a lot of topics. If I can learn more about stuff through my art, I’m going to do that. It gives me an opportunity to express myself, hone my art and learn at the same time. At my age, it is important to multi-task. I will be learning about keywords and advertising with Pinterest and Instagram also because my website, books and design sales are not what they could be and I believe that is because I have zero traffic to my creations. I think these are going to be my goals and focuses for the rest of the year. Working with the Samhain exercise in Dark Celebrations has got me “reflecting” over the past year and “refining” what I’m going to do over the next year.
