I have been in the mood for watercolor painting while Stephen and I listen to audio-books in the evening. I am following this watercolor tutorial on painting jellyfish. Its pretty fun. Here’s how it turned out. I did three practices two before work and one after work. I like doing the tentacles better with pen …
I don’t have a lot of time to write this morning but, my cactus is dying. There are holes in it and I don’t know why. I am still very much learning the ways of Arizona gardening and have never before owned cacti in my adult life so some setbacks are to be expected. This …
I live in the Yuma, Foothills and I took a weird way home today and I ended up stopping at the edge of the desert to take some close up photos of the sand. I took photos every few steps to see if the sand would be different the further I got from the road. …

The show implied that Bosch used the symbolism of the day to illustrate how sin led …
This drawing is part of a series of drawings. I am drawing along with some of the prompts in the Inktober challenge. This is a couple who are enchanted with each other. I have been trying to incorporate a Celtic twist into each of the drawings I create for this challenge because I really want …
I’ve done a lot of work this weekend reformatting my books. When I first began creating these books back in 2012 I really had no idea what I was doing. I have learned so much since then. I have learned more about formatting things electronically, Photoshop and also my drawing skill has improved. I’ve been aching to redo these books. Sometimes I look at something I created and wonder, “How could I have done this so badly?” or “What was I thinking?” One of the volumes in the Fast Freehand Fills series is woefully small.
